Kandara MP Alice Wahome misbehaved in public

CREDIT TO THE STAR Kandara MP Alice Wahome says the video of her disagreement with a returning officer was not about changing results. Wahome responded on Saturday to claims she wanted the results changed in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta. A video emerged of the lawmaker and Kandara returning officer Martin Malonza disagreeing over changes to Form 34B for the constituency. More on this: Kandara MP Alice Wahome scuffles with RO over changes to Form 34B In a statement on Saturday, Wahome said: "The RO is aware we had no reason to change any results as all votes belonged to Uhuru. I hope the RO was not playing to the media for the wrong reasons," she said. She further said she gave Malonza space to work all through and had no reason to fight him. "A disagreement on how to deal with votes stolen from Uhuru is being twisted. I believe those who are desperate would like to read more than the actual position. His PO made a mistake. I stand with the truth." A

New bloggers I have a way out for all of you

It seems like there are always new sites coming into the market, offering to give freelance writers a little pay. But few sites pay based on traffic anymore (which makes sense, since traffic does not equal dollars). Blasting News is one opportunity that is new to the U.S. and does pay based on the number of visitors you attract. They contacted Carol about referring writers to the site — and she asked me to take a look and learn about the pay and requirements. Is Blasting News a good way for writers to earn a living? There are highly mixed reviews on Glassdoor and on Indeed (in several languages). We decided to find out more, and talked to several writers around the world with experience on this platform. Here’s our report: How it works Blasting News is a citizen journalism site with versions in many countries. It was first launched in 2013 in Italy, and has grown to 34 countries and more than 513,000 writers (they call them “blasters”). Pay is based on traffic, and rates varies

From NASA to NRM what will happen next in kenya

Credit to Eric Onchanji Raila Odinga, the man with fanatical following in the Republic of KENYA announces the conversion of NASA political vehicle to a National Resistance Movement. My take: 1. What Raila Odinga has announced in the capital city of Kenya is near treason. It is the kind of announcement People make in the bush but he chose to make it publicly in the heart of Kenya. Raila is tired of election theft in KENYA. That name is not only revolutionary, it carries certain heavy undertones only known to a few. 2. This therefore means Raila Odinga wants to be arrested to trigger a Revolution because when people feel they cannot change or confirm leadership through the ballot, they resort to other means. And Raila said this was the last election that was stolen. 3. A reclusive nonetity named Wycliffe Matakwei of the Sabaot Land Defence Forces in Mt. Elgon held the Kenya Government for several years defying various security incursions until the KDF brought an end to his t

Why are kenyans angry with President uhuru kenyatta

You campaign all over the country using like five teams to increase coverage, You incite voters to vote using slogans like Kumira Kumira, Thuraku Thuraku, Wembe ni ule ule, Watu ni wale wale. You sign hurriedly sign electoral ammendments into law, You purchase Munya, Isaac Ruto, Hassan Omar and many other August looser from NASA. You hold countless Statehouse delegations to woo tribes, leaders, organisations and groups to support you, You vie against yourself , You provide free transport to your stronghold voters from Nairobi. You physically carry elderly voters to vote. But still voter turn out could only be around 30% Ama you only vote when Kimundu Raila is on the ballot? Well,Am just a Kenyan whose public funds were wasted!!

Will there be an election on 26,October 2017?

KENYA’ S FRAGILE political system has veered between breakthrough and breakdown over the past two months amid a hotly contested presidential election. Now the country itself appears in danger of a violent implosion . The government of Uhuru Kenyatta insists it will go ahead with a rerun of the presidential vote on Thursday even though the incumbent ’ s principal challenger has withdrawn and senior election officials have warned that the outcome will not be credible . That could lead to mass protests and bloodshed — not to mention a major setback for African democracy . The election system appeared to have worked in August , when international observers, including former secretary of state John F. Kerry, praised a vote that appeared to give a decisive victory to Mr . Kenyatta over challenger Raila Odinga . But to the surprise of all sides , Kenya’ s Supreme Court ruled on Sept . 1 that election officials had not observed proper procedures for tabulating and reporting the vote, and it a

C. Ronaldo voted for Giroud as the best

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo would have backed Oscarine Masuluke 's goal as his preferred choice for the FIFA Puskas Award despite the goalkeeper eventually losing out to Arsenal's Olivier Giroud. Masuluke missed out on becoming the first African to win the prestigious prize at the awards in London on Monday. Giroud scooped 36.17% of the 792 062 votes cast while Masuluke received 27.48% . The third nominee, Venezuela's Deyna Castellanos, got 20.47% . Ronaldo though, who was later in the evening crowned as the Best FIFA Men's Player, reserved special praise for Masuluke during the gala event. "I like Olivier Giroud's goal, but I have to give credit to the goalkeeper. He (usually) never goes forward and he tried an amazing goal, too," he said during the FIFA awards gala. "Both (goals) I think were great." Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane also named the South African when asked who he backed to win. "It had to be the goalkeeper, with

Uncertainty over Elections in kenya!

Following the historic ruling by the Supreme Court of kenya which  nullified the August 8 general elections on the grounds of illegalities and irregularities...  The SC ordered for a repeat of presidential  elections within 60 days in accordance with the Constitution and the  election  laws , in a state of denial  and shock H. E president uhuru kenyatta went berserk abusing the judges of the highest court in kenya right,  left and center..  The Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission of kenya(IEBC)  led by counsel Wafula Chebukati had to conduct afresh presidential election within  60 days as so ordered by the SC of kenya,  the commission Gazetted Oct 17 as the day of the fresh presidential election which was immediately rejected by the presidential candidate of National super Alliance (NASA). The president going to meetings drunk

President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday met Independent Elections and Boundaries commission Chair Wafula Chebukati while totally indebriated, multiple sources have told koina blogs. The meeting, at Harambee House, had been called by the IEBC Chair to seek consensus on the fate of Oct 26 polls. Twice, Uhuru had avoided participating in a joint meeting of presidential candidates, which had to be called off each time. Uhuru sees himself more as the sitting president, and relates with IEBC as such, not as a presidential candidate. “We made it clear that we have no demands or conditions on this subject. We have made funds available for the IEBC to do its job. Now they really should deliver,” the President said, according to a Facebook write-up by PSCU. “We only insist that elections be held on October 26, that’s the timeline set by the IEBC in terms of conditions set in the annulment of the Aug 8 elections,” adds the statement, quoting President Uhuru. Last week, Chebukati met NASA Leader

First time blogger? Don't worry!

You know everyone thinks we’re fools, right? To most of the world, blogging is a joke. It isn’t a career. It isn’t a way to make money. It isn’t a tool for changing the world. It’s a hobby, a diversion, a fad that’ll come and go. Sure, you can start a blog, but don’t count on it to make you any money. That’s just silly. Try telling your family or friends or coworkers you want to quit your job and make money blogging. They’ll smile politely and ask, “Does anybody really make money from that?” Yes, they want you to have dreams. Yes, they want you to chase them. Yes, they want you to succeed. But they also want you to be “realistic.” If you really want to improve your life, you should get an advanced degree, write a book, or even start your own business, not hang all your hopes and dreams on some stupid little blog. Nobody can make money blogging. Can they? Well, I’m hesitant to say this, Granted, it is a good month. We don’t always make that much money. But we almost always cr
